Target lowering prices, launching new brands to boost sales

Target, which reported a 1.5 percent decline in same-store sales during the fourth quarter, has said it will invest in lowering prices while launching more than a dozen new and exclusive brands in 2017. One bright spot for the retailer was online revenue, which increased 34 percent in the most recent quarter.
