Gymboree had 800 stores before it filed for bankruptcy and shuttered all its locations. The chain was later acquired by The Children’s Place for $76 million. Next year, The Children’s Place will bring Gymboree.com back online. It also plans to open Gymboree shops inside 200 of its stores in the U.S. and Canada.
