Chipotle has been testing special drive-thrus for customers to pick up digital orders. The chain decided to invest more heavily in the “Chipotlane” concept after a successful 20-store pilot. More than half the 150 to 165 restaurants being opened by Chipotle in 2020 will include these digital drive-thrus.
