The Trump administration announced it would assess 10 percent tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese imports affecting a wide range of products including apparel, handbags, luggage and many others. Industry groups including the National Association of Manufacturers voiced opposition to the latest action taken by the White House, which will likely result in higher prices for American consumers.
