Trump administration wants to gut healthy eating rules for school lunches
The Washington Post 01/17/2020The U.S. Agriculture Department has proposed new rules for school lunches that would allow educational institutions to cut the required amount of fruits and vegetables served and loosen restrictions on fried foods, pizza and other items. The USDA administers nutritional programs that feed nearly 30 million students at 99,000 schools across the country.
