Under Armour struggles to protect its house

Under Armour grew to be the third largest sportswear brand behind Nike and Adidas partly on the strength of its “We must protect this house” ad campaign. Fierce price competition from its larger rivals and the consumer shift to online purchases have all worked to erode the brand’s market share leading to layoffs and a drop in Under Armour’s stock price.
