Under Armour takes first steps to manufacturing in the U.S.

The athletic and fitness brand has manufactured about 1,000 sports bras and the same number of leggings at its UA Lighthouse design and product development facility in Baltimore. The company said the time from design to completed product took about three months compared to the 18 to 20 months it typically takes when manufacturing is done in Asia.
