Walgreens closing stores to complete Rite Aid deal

Walgreens plans to close about 600 locations as it concludes a $4.38 billion deal to acquire nearly 2,000 stores from Rite Aid. Most of the stores slated to close will be Rite Aid locations that are within a mile of another store owned by Walgreens.
