Walgreens gets FTC approval to acquire 1,900+ Rite Aid stores

The Federal Trade Commission has given approval for Walgreens Boots Alliance to acquire 1,932 stores from Rite Aid for $4.38 billion. The latest offer was Walgreens’ fourth attempt to acquire stores from Rite Aid.
