Walgreens raising age to buy tobacco to 21
The New York Times 04/23/2019Walgreens announced that it will stop selling tobacco products to customers under the age of 21. The decision follows moves by dozens of states and hundreds of cities to raise the legal age for buying tobacco to 21. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell said he would introduce a bill in May to raise the national minimum age to 21.
