Walmart CEO calls U.S. stores chief ‘the greatest retailer’

CEO Doug McMillon told TheStreet that Greg Foran, Walmart’s head of U.S. stores, is the “greatest retailer on the planet.” Mr. Foran, who was named to lead the division three years ago, has focused on reducing out-of-stocks that plagued Walmart prior to his arrival while upgrading its merchandise, thereby driving eight straight quarters of same-store sales gains.
