Walmart grows its marketplace as it chases Amazon

Walmart’s online marketplace grew to around 70,000 sellers last year as the retailing giant increased services and offered third-party merchants and brands an alternative to Amazon.com. The number of sellers on Walmart Marketplace is expected to grow another 14 percent by the end of next year, according to MarketPulse.
