Walmart merchandising exec to lead Hanesbrands

Stephen Bratspies, most recently chief merchandising officer at Walmart, has been named the new CEO at Hanesbrands Inc. He replaces Gerald Evans Jr. who announced his retirement after 37 years with the company. Mr. Evan will remain on the company’s board until August to assist with the transition.
