Walmart recruits foreign companies to sell on U.S. marketplace

Walmart has begun inviting sellers from Canada, China and the United Kingdom to join the marketplace on Walmart.com. The decision was made as the retailer seeks to expand its selection to meet the requests and needs of consumers. Walmart.com now has 50 million items on its site from marketplace sellers, just a fraction of the 300 million offered on Amazon.com’s marketplace.
