Walmart Settles Suit Against Former Vice Chair

Walmart has agreed to settle a lawsuit it brought against Tom Coughlin, the former vice chairman of the company, seeking to void his retirement package valued at $17 million. Mr. Coughlin pleaded guilty to wire fraud and tax evasion charges in 2006 for misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars from the retailer.
