Walmart to up investment in Brazilian market

Walmart plans to spend around $320 million over three years to upgrade its hypermarkets in Brazil. The retailer has faced headwinds in recent years as Brazilians either shop in smaller convenience stores or a new discount warehouse format known as “cash and carry.”
