Minority workers in retail say they get fewer consistent hours than whites

A survey of 30,000 workers at 120 of the largest retail and foodservice chains found that minorities are 10 percent to 20 percent more likely than their white counterparts to report having their shifts cancelled, being placed on-call and working two consecutive shifts within 11 hours of one another.
