Women tired of paying more than men for consumer products

A study of 800 consumer products in 2015 by the New York City of Consumer Affairs found that women pay an average of seven percent more for similar products used by men. Pushing back against the practice of charging women more for items and services such as razor blades and dry cleaning has become a focus of advocacy groups.
