May 7, 2025

7-Eleven Gold Pass customers can now enjoy an upgrade to their existing in-store and fuel benefits.

The retailer has taken convenience to the next level with the launch of its elevated Gold Pass experience. Building on the success of its original delivery membership, this upgraded program now includes exclusive in-store savings and fuel discounts, according to a press release.

The upgraded program costs $9.95 a month or $95 a year. There is also a deep discount for students, at $5.95 per month or $55 a year. Both plans offer a 30-day free trial.

“We’re always looking for ways to bring more fun, value and ease to our customers’ daily routines,” Yaqub Baiani, vice president of digital product management and experience. “The new 7-Eleven Gold Pass lets you save on everything from your morning coffee to your fuel fill-up. And now you can enjoy those perks whether you’re shopping in-store, online or on the go!”

Currently, Gold Pass members are eligible for deep discounts and benefits. These include free delivery on eligible orders and 10% cash back on both delivery and pickup, as well as:

  • Seven free drinks every month: Enjoy any size coffee, Big Gulp, or Slurpee drink free, up to seven times a month.
  • Extra 5 cents off per gallon: Save an extra 5 cents on every gallon at participating 7-Eleven-branded fuel stations. This discount is in addition to other existing fuel discounts.
  • Exclusive in-store deals: Gold Pass members get special offers and limited-time discounts when shopping in-store.

7-Eleven Gold Pass members can sign up and manage their perks through the 7-Eleven and 7NOW apps.

7-Eleven’s Reputation for Convenience Stands 97 Years

7-Eleven currently has over 85,000 stores in 19 countries and has built a reputation for customer convenience, variety, and innovation for the past 97 years. The chain’s origins can be traced back to 1927 as the Southland Ice Company, which eventually evolved into the convenience store chain customers know today. In 1946, the name was changed to 7-Eleven, reflecting the original extended store hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Most locations are open 24/7, making the chain store a reliable stop for late-night snacks, emergency items, or a quick meal when other stores are closed. That reliability, combined with a widespread presence in urban and suburban areas, makes 7-Eleven a go-to for millions of customers each day.

Product variety continues to secure 7-Eleven’s spot in the retail marketplace. The brand’s Slurpees and Big Gulp drinks drive customers in stores via new flavors and fresh partnerships, including a recent collaboration with the punk band Green Day.

The retailer also appears to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to tech-savvy deals. Through its 7Rewards loyalty program and the 7NOW delivery app, customers earn points on purchases and door-to-door delivery.

In recent years, 7-Eleven has also made fuel savings and in-store perks a priority through programs like the 7-Eleven Gold Pass. The company introduced its Gold Pass, originally focusing on delivery benefits, on Jan. 19, 2022. The program was updated with additional perks for in-store and fuel purchases on May 5, 2025.
