Nordstrom has invested more than $500 million on its seven-story flagship department store in New York City. “Our intent wasn’t to out-Bergdorf Bergdorf, or out-Saks Saks. Our intent was to make the most modern, relevant Nordstrom store possible,” said co-president Pete Nordstrom.
