Judge tosses worker suit against Amazon’s COVID-19 safety measures

A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit brought by warehouse workers at an Amazon.com facility in Staten Island, NY, that alleged the retail and tech giant had failed to follow public health rules to protect their safety. The court ruled that the workers’ complaints were under the jurisdiction of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and should be addressed to that agency.
