Retailers with significantly higher profit during the pandemic include Amazon and Walmart and to a lesser extent CVS Health, The Home Depot and Lowe’s. Some of the companies are cited by the think tank Brookings for not sharing the wealth with workers. Best Buy and Target were lauded for boosting worker pay.
