Walgreens Boots Alliance is among a growing number of companies deploying software bots to manage tasks across a wide variety of business disciplines including finance, human resources and logistics. Up to 40 percent of companies have increased their use of bots and other automation since the beginning of the pandemic, according to International Data Corp.
