Consumers who were willing to let grocers pick and deliver their grocers early in the pandemic are less willing to do so now that costs have increased and the products delivered are not always up to expectations. Americans spent 26 percent on grocery delivery in June 2022 versus the same month in 2020. Grocery pickup increased 10.5 percent over the highest levels tracked during the pandemic.
