BeReal is a French photo-sharing app that prompts users once a day to snap a selfie. The app uses the phone’s front and back cameras to provide a fuller picture of what’s going on around the user. BeReal is growing increasingly popular and inspiring imitators among other social sites. TikTok recently debuted TikTok Now, which uses both the front and rear cameras of a user’s phone to show what’s going on in their lives at a particular moment in time.
