The company’s expansion into the grocery sector has led to a surge in total orders, reaching 532 million in a quarter, a 25% YoY increase. DoorDash’s retail selection has expanded to over 100,000 stores, overtaking Instacart’s 80,000 merchants, making it a significant contender in the grocery delivery space.
