Amazon Customers Lodge Class Action Over Charges for Returned Goods
September 8, 2023
Amazon is facing a proposed class action lawsuit from customers who allege they were wrongfully charged for purchases that were returned on time. Four residents from different states claim that Amazon had knowledge of this systematic failure to issue refunds for timely returned items. The plaintiffs, represented by law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, seek class action status on behalf of millions of U.S. residents over the past six years who have allegedly faced similar charges after returning purchases in their original condition and within the specified time frame.
