Carrera ‘Smart’ Glasses Set for US Launch by Safilo and Amazon

Safilo, an Italian eyewear company, has partnered with Amazon to launch Carrera-branded “smart” glasses featuring Amazon’s Alexa technology, initially in the U.S. market. These glasses boast up to six hours of continuous media playback or talk time on a full charge, and they direct sound to the wearer’s ears without obstructing them, ensuring privacy. Angelo Trocchia, CEO of Safilo Group, expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing the infusion of Italian design and Carrera’s distinctive style into this innovative project.
