HEYDUDE x SpongeBob Collection Drops

In celebration of SpongeBob’s 25^th anniversary, HEYDUDE is introducing the HEYDUDE x SpongeBob collection. HEYDUDE and its sister company, Crocs, are leading the charge in footwear innovation by being one of the first global brands to launch on TikTok Shop U.S.

HEYDUDE Chief Marketing Officer Paul Nugent discussed the iconic collaboration between the animated character and the footwear line. “Launching a product on TikTok Shop, specifically with a collaboration partner like SpongeBob, is an exciting moment for the brand as we focus on young adult consumers. As part of an ongoing effort to meet our target audience where they are and grow the brand’s digital commerce footprint, we see immense value in connecting authentically with the micro-communities that are active on TikTok.”

Under the direction of Terence Reilly, HEYDUDE is putting women front and center, and TikTok is where women 18-24 years old typically look for style content and fashion inspiration. According to a company press release, “As a one-stop shop, TikTok Shop’s ‘discovery e-commerce’ model seamlessly transitions our community from inspiration and product discovery to purchase within seconds.”

The company also stated, “This innovative e-commerce experience will enable HEYDUDE to unleash the e-commerce potential of TikTok by making today’s most engaging content even easier to shop.”

This particular collaboration includes 11 items. They include footwear featuring SpongeBob and Patrick, a shoe collaborative with all the show’s iconic characters, including Mr. Krabs and Squidward, and a shoe devoted to the iconic Krabby Patty.

“SpongeBob SquarePants” is an American animated television series created by animator Stephen Hillenburg that first aired on Nickelodeon as a sneak peek after the 1999 Kids’ Choice Awards on May 1, 1999. The series officially premiered on July 17, 1999. The show celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

The HEYDUDE x SpongeBob collection will be available to purchase at www.heydude.com starting Sept. 10, though it was first launched exclusively on TikTok Shop U.S. for purchase on Sept. 6.
