Wendy’s Announces Fall Deals, Including ‘Frosty the 13th’

Wendy’s has announced its latest batch of deals for fans to enjoy throughout September when they order through the app.

In a press release announcement, it was revealed that Wendy’s Rewards members may get a free order of any size Hot & Crispy Fries with any purchase in the app as well as a $1 small Frosty on Friday, Sept. 13. Appropriately, the promotion is called “Frosty the 13th.”

And that’s not all.

The fast-food giant is providing football fans with fuel for the entire season this year with the $5 Big Noon Saucy Deal, which is only available through the app or on the website. For $5, fans can purchase a six-piece Saucy Nuggs in one of seven distinct flavors, along with a small soft drink and some Hot & Crispy Fries. What’s more, this fall, fans will enjoy zero-dollar delivery fees on Saturdays when they place an order through the Wendy’s app, which is sure to save some money.

Finally, in celebration of National Cheeseburger Day on Sept. 18, fans who apply the digital promotion, which is exclusive to the fast-food chain’s proprietary app, will receive a 1-cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger with purchase starting on Sept. 18 and valid until Sept. 22.

Wendy’s Brings Back the Vanilla Frosty

Just in time for Frosty the 13th, a fan-favorite Frosty flavor is making a comeback, and customers can get their hands on it for just $1.

Wendy’s has brought back the popular Vanilla Frosty, which was temporarily discontinued in March. Wendy’s has removed the Triple Berry flavor from its menu to create room for the relaunched flavor. Alongside the Vanilla Frosty, the regular Chocolate Frosty is still offered.

There were just five menu options when the first Wendy’s opened its doors in 1969, and the Chocolate Frosty was one of them. The Strawberry Frosty was the second Frosty innovation that Wendy’s released in the United States after the Vanilla Frosty was added to the menu in 2006. Since then, Wendy’s has introduced seasonal flavors like the Pumpkin Spice Frosty, Peppermint Frosty, and Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, and each time one of them gets added to the menu, the Vanilla Frosty gets pulled from rotation.
