Dunkin’ Drops Halloween Menu, Including Costumes & Munchkin Bucket

October 1, 2024

Dunkin’ is getting into the spooky season with its new Halloween menu, which includes costumes for the season and a loaded bucket of Munchkins that can also be used as a candy bucket.

PEOPLE reports that the coffee company has unveiled a unique selection of food, beverages, décor, and costumes. October will see the release of the eerie treats, some of which are exclusive to retailers and others exclusively online.

The new Potion Macchiato is kicking off the Halloween festivities. A press statement revealed that the espresso drink comes in both hot and chilled varieties and has brilliant purple milk with a flavor reminiscent of “marshmallow ube.”

Additionally, Dunkin’ will be offering the Halloween Munchkins Bucket. The plastic purple buckets are adorned with characters like ghosts and witches that are shaped like Munchkins. Trick-or-treaters may simply repurpose the bucket after they’re finished eating the sweet treats.

In addition, a few classic Halloween sweets are back, including the Halloween sprinkle doughnut and Munchkin along with the spider doughnut, which now has purple icing.

Last but not least, Dunkin’ superfans may be interested in the coffee shop’s spooky season merchandise. Customers can buy the DunKings tracksuit or DunKings costume inspired by the 2024 Super Bowl commercial if they’re looking for a fun Halloween costume. They can also get a 6-foot-tall inflatable spider doughnut that’s perfect for decorating the yard for Halloween.

Dunkin’ Has Added Many Things to Its Menu

Dunkin’ has been unveiling many new things on its menu as of late. Last month, the doughnut giant unveiled the Dunkalatte nationwide with the help of comedian Kristen Wiig.

The new beverage, which takes its cues from the traditional Rhode Island beverage coffee milk, “delivers a one-of-a-kind flavor experience,” according to a press release.

Dunkin’s espresso blended with whole milk and coffee extract produces an exceptionally smooth drink that tastes and drinks like a melty milkshake.

Bringing her signature humor to the latest campaign, popular comedian and actress Kristen Wiig proposes herself as the official spokeswoman for the Dunkalatte. Her funny journey to become the face of Dunkin’s newest invention marks the beginning of a new chapter in the business’s movie universe and maintains its partnership with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity.

“When we first created the Dunkalatte, we knew we had something special on our hands, but introducing coffee milk — an unfamiliar concept to most — was a challenge. Finally, we thought, a drink this delicious deserved to be named after ourselves. From that moment, we made it our mission to make everything about the Dunkalatte as ‘Dunkin’’ as possible — fun, approachable and totally crave-worthy,” said Jill McVicar Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, in a statement accompanying the press release. “With Kristen Wiig’s humor and playful energy, she was the perfect partner to help bring that vision to life and keep our guests laughing and sipping — because that’s the Dunkin’ way to latte.”
