Chipotle Fans Win if Their Fantasy Football Team Loses With New Brisket Promo

Chipotle has devised yet another winning promotion to attract customers’ interest in its products. Now, if their fantasy football team loses, they can win a fan-favorite meal for the duration of the football season.

The company, which specializes in Mexican-inspired fast food, will give away free Smoked Brisket to 100 Rewards members who post a screenshot of their losing fantasy football matchup. Nation’s Restaurant News reports that the company is attempting to tap into fantasy football’s massive fanbase with this unique promotion.

All Chipotle Rewards members need to do is tweet a screenshot of their losing fantasy matchup on X using the hashtags #SmokedLineup and #Sweepstakes. Fan submissions must be from the 2024-25 fantasy football season.

From those entries, 100 user submissions will be chosen to receive free Smoked Brisket every week for the rest of the regular football season. This fan-favorite item recently returned to the fast-food chain’s regular menu after a three-year hiatus, to the delight of its loyal fan base.

Chipotle Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt shared further details regarding the promotion. “Football fans are some of the most passionate fans out there – especially when it comes to their fantasy teams. When results don’t go your way, the disappointment is real.”

“Our ‘Got Smoked? Get Smoked.’ initiative is here to help fantasy managers who lost big regroup and recover for a playoff push. When fans are down, we hope the glimmer of our savory Smoked Brisket will provide a hint of hope for the rest of the season,” Brandt concluded.

The chain advertises its brisket as tender, hand-chopped in small batches, seasoned with Mexican spices, and finished with a unique brisket sauce made with smokey chili peppers.

The meat can be eaten in a burrito or a bowl with choices of toppings, including rice, beans, and fajita veggies, along with guac, salsa, queso blanco, sour cream, and cheese.

Chipotle’s fantasy football promotion runs from Oct. 1-8, 2024.
