Carnival Cruise Line Releases New Itinerary Changes

October 6, 2024

Carnival Cruise Line has announced its latest itinerary changes for 2026 and 2027, and it’s become clear that the cruise company has its collective eye set on the land Down Under.

A press release revealed that with four Carnival Cruise Line ships offering exciting and unforgettable cruise holidays, visitors from Australia will have more options than ever with the addition of Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter to the fleet in the spring.

The extended itinerary features sailings on Carnival Adventure and Carnival Splendor from Sydney and (seasonally) on Carnival Encounter and Carnival Luminosa from Brisbane. Popular destinations like Moreton Island, the South Pacific, and the Great Barrier Reef are included in the itinerary, along with New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.

“As we expand our fleet to four ships in Australia and enrich our overall deployment plan, our 2026/27 itineraries significantly increase the options available for the Carnival experience from Sydney and Brisbane,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning, in a statement accompanying the press release. “Guests interested in a cruise from Australia are bound to find the perfect itinerary, whether they’re looking to explore a new region or revisit key vacation destinations — all showcasing the diverse beauty of the South Pacific.”

The Australian cruises will launch in the 2026/2027 year.

Carnival Cruise Line Previously Launched Celebration Key

Back in March, Carnival Cruise Line announced that it was launching a Celebration Key cruise in July 2025.

A short journey from the ship is Paradise Plaza, which boasts a colorful promenade and a spectacular sun-shaped arch that are ideal for taking pictures. Live music fills the air, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The high point? An amazing 10-story Suncastle that makes you excited about the paradise that’s just beyond. Visitors can choose from a variety of activities, such as taking part in shore excursions, water sports, or just lounging in cabanas. A fountain with an ice cream shop with a Bahamian theme awaits guests in search of refreshments.

Adjacent to Paradise Plaza is Calypso Lagoon, which attracts adults looking for a buzzing nightlife. There’s something for everyone to do, from hitting the sports court to relaxing in the largest freshwater lagoon in the Caribbean. Beautiful views are provided by swinging bars, and there are more bars dotted around the lagoon to make sure no visitor goes without drinks. In addition, there are two full-service restaurants and a casual snack bar that provide delicious food while overlooking the stunning Bahamian beach.
