Starbucks 2024 Holiday Menu: New Tastes Debut and Old Favorites Return

November 8, 2024

Starbucks has officially rolled out its 2024 holiday menu with the debut of new tastes and the return of some old favorites.

According to a Starbucks press release, the line features five holiday coffees, a new refresher, a savory pastry, and some sweet treats featuring the tastes of the season. The coffee chain’s seasonal offerings will be placed in traditional holiday cups as customers dive into some of Starbucks’ most innovative new flavors.

Returning is a holiday favorite flavor of more than 20 years: Peppermint Mocha. The beverage features Starbucks espresso combined with steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint-flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls.

The chain has also brought back the Caramel Brulée Latte, which combines coffee with steamed milk and caramel brulée sauce. The beverage is topped with whipped cream and caramel brulée topping. The Chestnut Praline Latte has a coffee base and is steamed with the flavor of chestnuts and warm spices. It’s topped with whipped cream and the addition of spiced praline crumbs.

If iced drinks are more your thing, Starbucks has you covered. While the aforementioned drinks can be served cold, the coffee retailer also has a line of specialty drinks for fans of iced coffee (but they can also be served hot if you wish).

The Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte has a blonde roast espresso base, with the addition of sugar cookie flavored syrup, ice, and almondmilk. The company’s Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai combines chai spices, oatmilk, and ice, and it’s topped with nondairy gingerbread-flavored cold foam and spice.

Starbucks has also introduced the new Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, which comes normal, as a Lemonade Refresher, or as a drink with creamy coconutmilk. The Refresher “captures the essence of the season with flavors of sweet orange, tart cranberry and warm spices, including notes of cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, shaken with ice, water and real cranberries.”

Holiday Cold Foams and Desserts Are Also on the Menu

Holiday flavors abound in some of Starbucks’ seasonal cold foam drinks and desserts. All cold foam drinks can be made nondairy for no extra charge.

The seasonal cold foam flavors include Gingerbread, Peppermint Chocolate, Sugar Cookie, Chestnut Praline, and Caramel Brulée, which is the only option not available as a nondairy cold foam. These tastes echo the warm notes of holiday spices used for baking.

Along with the many beverages Starbucks offers for the 2024 holiday season, there are also some good eats. This season, the company introduced a Turkey Sage Danish. Echoing all that’s good about fall, the flaky, savory pastry is filled with turkey sausage and a creamy bechamel sauce.

If sweet is more your style, Starbucks has also introduced a Dark Toffee Bundt cake, a personal-sized treat. There’s also a sugar cookie decorated with a penguin face and snowman cake pops. Finally, there’s a Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and a Cranberry Bliss Bar, which is a blondie dotted with dried cranberries and a layer of cream cheese icing with orange zest and dried cranberries.

Starbucks will feature these exclusive menu items throughout the holiday season.
