Pizza Hut Debuts a Tomato Wine That Tastes Like Pizza

Pizza Hut has elevated a classic food and beverage pairing, pizza and wine, to a drinkable beverage that captures the essence of the fast-food favorite in every sip.

Crafted from ripe, juicy tomatoes and infused with natural basil, Tomato Wine by Pizza Hut is made in partnership with Kansas-based Irvine’s Just Beyond Paradise Winery. The adult beverage has all the elements that create a good pizza inside each bottle.

Each sip offers customers a blend of fresh herbs and spices with rich, sun-ripened tomato notes and a subtle hint of toasted oak. A press release reveals that it “delivers a tasting similar to a white wine when enjoyed chilled. Paired with any classic Pizza Hut pizza, including the signature one-topping pizzas that come in the festive Triple Treat Box, the new wine transforms each bite into an unforgettable tasting experience, ideal for any holiday soiree.”

This limited-edition Tomato Wine retails for $25, and customers must purchase a minimum of two bottles. These can be found, along with a limited-edition gift set ($60), at www.irvinewinery.com/pizzahut.

Pair The Tomato-Flavored Wine With Pizza Hut’s Triple Treat Box

According to the press release, Pizza Hut’s Pizza Wine is best paired with the return of the company’s Triple Treat Box. This fan-favorite starts at just $19.99 and contains a complete meal just in time for the busiest season of the year.

The box includes two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks or cheese sticks (for an upcharge), and a choice of dessert. The meal comes packaged in a festive, holiday-themed box.

There is an additional charge for more than one pizza topping in the Triple Treat Box, as well as extra cost for pan pizza and the addition of extra cheese.
