Jimmy John’s has revealed its latest addition to its dessert lineup: Chocolate Peppermint Cookies made with OREOs. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these cookies will go to a good cause.

According to Inspire Stories, beginning on Nov. 25, the new confection became available all around the country. A percentage of the cookie sales will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and it has been released in time for Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3 and National Cookie Day on Dec. 4.

The culinary team is stepping up the seasonal splendor for November with the Chocolate Peppermint Cookie made with OREO, following the successful launch of Jimmy John’s newest limited-edition cookie, Pumpkin White Chocolate, which sold out in record time. This limited-edition confection has a rich, buttery dark chocolate base that is stuffed with OREO cookie pieces and adorned with festive candy cane bits. The new dessert can be eaten as a stand-alone holiday treat or as the perfect accompaniment to any sandwich.

“This holiday season, we set out to craft a new cookie that would delight fans while creating a moment where guests could pay it forward simply by stopping in for a sweet treat,” said Jimmy John’s vice president of marketing, Kate Carpenter, in a statement to the outlet. “In partnership with OREO, we are honored to continue to support the incredible work of Boys & Girls Clubs of America through this limited-edition cookie.”

Jimmy John’s Is a Leader in Innovation

The sandwich giant isn’t afraid to try new things when it comes to innovative food for their customers. Earlier this month, Jimmy John’s made headlines when it unveiled the limited-edition “Picklewich,” which replaced the slices of bread with a large dill pickle.

The sandwich giant announced the launch of its new Picklewich in a news statement. This creation had all the features of a classic Jimmy John’s sandwich, but it had a twist: a large kosher dill pickle served as bread in place of bread, making it juicy, crispy, and satisfying.

From Monday, Oct. 28 to Thursday, Nov. 14, Jimmy John’s, which is well-known for its signature Jimmy Pickles and unmatched sandwiches, blended these popular dishes into one ultimate mashup that was served at participating locations nationwide.
