Target Adds Over 2,000 Wellness Products, More Than Half Priced at Under $10

January 9, 2025

Target has been making headlines recently for a variety of reasons — some good, some less so. Whether attracting attention for its humorous and cheeky holiday ad campaigns or for overcrowded store aisles, the bullseye brand is no stranger to courting retail consumers looking for a bargain.

That seems to be the impetus behind its latest move, according to a Jan. 9 press release. The company plans to add more than 2,000 products to its wellness inventory, with over half of these being priced under $10.

“We understand that wellness is deeply personal, and it spans many different aspects of people’s lives, so at Target our approach to wellness reaches into every category of our assortment,” said Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

“Across beauty, personal care, tech, food, beverage, nutrition and more, we’re adding exciting new products to make it easier for people to find everything they need at prices that allow them to take care of themselves and their families without having to spend a lot of money,” Gomez added.

Target To Stock Wellness Products From Tom Holland, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and DTC Hit Dr. Squatch

As Retail Touchpoints outlined, Target is lining up some heavy hitters in terms of new stock soon to be available online and on store shelves.

The company will be carrying products bearing some celebrity cache, notably Tom Holland’s alcohol-free beer (BERO) and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Papatui line of skincare and men’s grooming essentials. Speaking of beauty products, notable names such as Ashley Tisdale, Blake Lively, and Kourtney Kardashian Barker will also have their wellness products represented by the retailer.

DTC darling Dr. Squatch will also see its famous lineup of body care products sold at Target, as will “functional beverage” brands like Poppi and Bloom. Nutrition does seem to be top of mind with Target’s massive new product catalog, as its private label Good & Gather is adding over 250 items to its inventory.

“Guests will find options starting at the front of the store, where the new, exclusive Blogilates for Target collection is available alongside a wellness experience featuring beauty, health and beverage items. Throughout the store, prominent displays will feature must-have supplements and hydration, protein, health, sporting good items and more,” Target’s press release read.

“Online shoppers will discover personalized product recommendations, the latest wellbeing trends, new snacks and curated deals throughout January to help consumers reset for the year ahead,” it continued.
