Perkins Pie-Inspired Doughnuts Are The Perfect Portable Bite

Perkins has come up with the dessert of dreams. By combining the tastes of their delicious pies with the portability of a doughnut, the quick service restaurant has all its bases covered.
Perkins is giving its customers the ultimate option. No longer do they have to choose between a pie or a doughnut, because Perkins has combined the two tastes to create their newest menu offering, Pie-Inspired Doughnuts. A press release reveals that the new flavors of pie-inspired doughnuts include Apple, Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel Cream, and Wildberry Delight.
The Apple Pie features a glazed doughnut topped with spiced apples, sweet vanilla glaze, and crumbled pie crust. The Salted Carmel Cream version is also a glazed doughnut topped with vanilla cheesecake, roasted almonds, and salted caramel sauce.
The Wildberry Delight version is a raspberry-filled doughnut topped with vanilla frosting, a berry blend, and crumbled pie crust. Finally, Perkins’ Cookies & Cream Delight is a chocolate-glazed doughnut with vanilla cream and crushed cookies.
“We are delighted to kick off the new year with sweet new offerings. Our Pie-Inspired Doughnuts are the right amount of fun and nostalgia with doughy layers of fresh-baked comfort in every bite,” said Toni Ronayne, president of Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. “The doughnuts are perfect for on-the-go or for topping off a meal any time of day.”

Not Craving Doughnuts? Perkins Also Has Plenty of Savory Options
Along with its sweeter menu offerings, Perkins also celebrates breakfast all day long.
For 2025, Perkins customers can enjoy the restaurant’s Great American Trio. These meal deals include the 5 Under $5, 6 Under $6, and 7 Under $7. “As we step into the new year, Perkins remains the go-to destination for homestyle American classics. Our Great American Trio is a showstopper that demonstrates our commitment to offering the Best Value Breakfast in America,” stated Ronayne.
All the plates include Perkins’s famous buttermilk pancakes, crispy Applewood smoked bacon, and eggs prepared to the customers’ taste. These breakfast plates are available Monday through Friday.
There’s also the new Big Country Skillet, which includes pork sausage, Applewood smoked bacon, smoked ham, American cheese and creamy gravy with two eggs served over crispy smashed tots. The Big Country Skillet is $9.99 for a limited time.
