AMC Stubs Members Who See More Than 8 Movies in a Year Can Get Free Upgrades and Perks

Is your idea of a good time going to see all the latest movies? Now you can get rewarded for it via the AMC Theatres program, AMC Stubs, by getting upgrades and perks for being a frequent watcher.

A press release revealed that the new program began on Jan. 1, 2025. AMC Stubs Insider members who see at least eight movies or earn 5,000 points at a minimum in a calendar year will be upgraded to the new AMC Stubs Premiere GO! membership status.

What does this mean? The upgrade to AMC Stubs Premiere GO! allows moviegoers the opportunity for “enhanced rewards such as 2x points for every $1 spent, waived online ticket fees for 4+ tickets purchased at the same time, a free large popcorn & fountain drink birthday gift, free size upgrades on popcorn and fountain drinks, and priority lane access.” Best of all, members who achieve this new status get to retain that membership through the remainder of the calendar year and the entire following year. So moviegoers get rewarded twice, just for loving the experience of going to the theatre.

There’s an Even Quicker Way To Get Rewarded Through AMC Stubs

Moviegoers who don’t want to wait for this new tiered system to kick into place after watching eight films can get it even quicker. All they have to do to receive AMC Stubs Premiere GO! benefits is to sign up for AMC Stubs Premiere.

The price is $17.99 per year, and premiere members will receive all the benefits of the new program after signing up. Premiere members also earn 5x points for every dollar they spend and receive waived online ticketing fees on every ticket purchase, regardless of size.

Also, for those who just can’t seem to stay out of the movie theatre, there’s AMC Stubs A-List, which allows its members to see up to three movies per week, in every available format, including IMAX and Dolby Cinema, for a monthly price of up to $24.95.
