Taco Bell Live Más LIVE Event Moves From Hollywood to New York City. Here Are the Details

February 6, 2025

Taco Bell has moved its Live Más LIVE event from Hollywood to New York City. The decision to do so came shortly after the event was canceled following the devastating Los Angeles fires. Let’s examine the details of this new development.

Taco Bell Moves Live Más LIVE to the East Coast

In a press release announcement, the fast-food giant revealed that Live Más LIVE will now occur on March 4, 2025, at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York City. The brand’s tech-inspired keynote experience is returning for a highly anticipated encore to reveal 2025’s most significant innovations — both on and off the menu. Sean Tresvant, CEO of Taco Bell, Liz Matthews, chief food and innovation officer, and Taylor Montgomery, CMO, will take the stage with a few surprise guests. The in-person and livestreamed event will showcase a year’s worth of innovation, with over 30 new products.

Fans who do not have tickets can stay up to date and experience Taco Bell’s most exciting year yet through the livestream, which will be available on March 4 at 5 p.m.

Before Live Más LIVE 2025, officials from both the fast-food giant and its parent company Yum! Brands will present investors with Taco Bell’s 2025 business strategy, which includes worldwide development ambitions, unique experiences, and new technological advancements.

Canceled Due to the Fires

Live Más LIVE was originally scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, but to keep the focus on the current recovery and rebuilding efforts following the devastating wildfires, both Live Más LIVE and the investor event will be conducted in New York City.

On Jan. 20, Food & Wine announced that the second annual Live Más LIVE event would be held on Jan. 28 at the Hollywood Palladium. Like last year’s tech-fueled event, this party will introduce the company’s “biggest innovations,” such as new menu items.

However, the official website for the event redirected to a statement made on Jan. 16 by Taco Bell, in which the iconic fast-food company, together with its sister brands KFC, Pizza Hut, and Habit Burger & Grill, “remain committed to our impacted employees, fans and neighbors. We’ve activated employee disaster relief and donation matching programs, we’re feeding frontline heroes, and we’re partnering with local relief organizations to provide essential services.”

Taco Bell later told Food & Wine that the Jan. 28 event at the Hollywood Palladium would be postponed indefinitely.

“As a brand that proudly calls Southern California home, Taco Bell is devastated to see the impact the recent wildfires have left on its local communities. To ensure the focus remains on the ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts, the brand is postponing the upcoming Live Más LIVE 2025 and investor events to prioritize the safety and well-being of Los Angeles residents and the surrounding community,” the company said in a statement to the outlet.

Taco Bell isn’t the only company committed to helping Los Angelinos who have been affected by the fires.

In January, Mayor Karen Bass shared two ways in which ordinary folks could help affected residents.

During a news briefing, Bass stated that the public could assist the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation as its troops fought the fires. Bass also mentioned that people could give to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund to help with property repairs and other disaster relief efforts.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, announced on their official website at the time that the following organizations were assisting victims of the Los Angeles fires:

  • Organizations like José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen, a trusted partner of The Archewell Foundation, provided meals to first responders and families impacted by the fires.
  • CAL FIRE and the LA Fire Department Foundation worked hand-in-hand with other groups to assist firefighters as they bravely protected homes, families, and entire communities.
  • The Compton Cowboys offered emergency transport services for horses, while the Animal Wellness Foundation housed and cared for animals displaced by the fires.
  • Displaced residents received free temporary housing through a partnership between 211LA and Airbnb.
  • Baby2Baby supported families by distributing essential items such as clothing, diapers, hygiene supplies, and emergency kits.
  • All Power Books and other local organizations provided emergency resources, including water and supplies, and worked tirelessly to meet the urgent needs of affected communities.
