Applebee’s Date Night Pass Returns: Here’s How To Snag One

Applebee’s coveted Date Night Pass is back. Getting your hands on one may be challenging, but we’ve got the tips on scoring the money-saving pass.

Applebee’s is putting 3,000 of its beloved Applebee’s Date Night Pass up for grabs this year. These are exclusively for Club Applebee’s members.

For $100, the Date Night Pass allows two to dine either in the restaurant or to-go and spend $50 on food and non-alcoholic beverages max once a month for the next year. It’s good from Mar. 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026, and it comes out to $500 in savings.

Per the restaurant’s website, if customers are not Club Applebee’s members, they must sign up for a free Club Applebee’s account. A welcome email will include an option to register for a chance to purchase one Date Night Pass. If a customer is already a Club Applebee’s member, there’s no sign-up required. An email will automatically be sent to the email on file by Feb. 12 for a chance to purchase the coveted pass.

However, signing up for Club Applebee’s does not register you for a chance to purchase a Date Night Pass. A customer must register for the chance to purchase via the link in their email. Those who have been randomly selected — 3,000 individuals — will be notified on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2025.

Applebee’s Date Night Passes do not include tax, gratuity, alcohol, retail (including gift cards), or fees. Passes are not gift cards and are not refundable.

According to TODAY, demand was high for Applebee’s Date Night Pass when the promotion launched in 2024. The passes sold out in just moments.

Many customers expressed frustration with the restaurant after receiving a confirmation email to be able to purchase the pass, only to find it was sold out. Some fans were unable to make a payment despite having the pass in their cart.

The restaurant issued the following statement to TODAY at the time: “The Date Night Pass sale this week showed us that our guests are hungry for date night at Applebee’s — just prior to sale time there were nearly 100,000 guests waiting to try and snag a Date Night Pass.”

It continued, “Our passes sold out in less than one minute to guests in 41 states — far exceeding our expectations. We apologize to our guests who were disappointed that the limited number of passes sold out so quickly. We’re always looking for ways to make date night special for our guests and look forward to sharing future offers.”
