Starbucks’ New Spring Menu Highlights Iced Cherry Chai, Jalapeno Chicken Pocket

March 3, 2025

Starbucks lovers are in for a real treat this month and moving forward, as the coffee chain has announced the rollout of its new spring menu in anticipation of warmer weather in the months to come.

The spring menu features a host of new and returning items, according to a company press release, with some of the highlights being the new Iced Cherry Chai and the returning Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, and Lavender Creme Frappuccino.

If you’re on the hungrier side, the brand new Jalapeno Chicken Pocket may satisfy, and if that’s not entirely up your alley, you’ll be treated to a complimentary TRUFF original or jalapeno hot sauce packet with the order of any breakfast sandwich, breakfast wrap, order of egg bites, bakes, lunch sandwiches, or pockets.

Starbucks’ Iced Cherry Chai Is Dubbed a ‘Sip of Springtime”

On March 4, alongside the rest of the menu, Starbucks is betting fans of the green-and-white brand will fall in love with its latest beverage offering in the Iced Cherry Chai.

The drink begins with black tea infused with cinnamon, clove, and other warming spices and then combined with milk and ice. Cherry cream cold foam tops the arrangement off, alongside a sprinkle of cherry crunch topping.

“When you take a sip of Iced Cherry Chai, you immediately get a creamy texture, warm spices, and notes of cherry — and it all comes together in an approachable way,” said Billy Altieri, lead beverage developer for the coffee company.

Sunsera Blend Blonde Roast, Starbucks Reserve Items Round Out the New Spring Menu

For those who really like to sip on a blonde roast, Starbucks is launching its Sunsera Blend both in its coffeehouses as well as on store shelves for those who prefer to brew a few cups at home.

Furthermore, loyalists living in Chicago, New York City, and Seattle may find themselves privy to a selection of Starbucks Reserve menu items at specific locations. The new Starbucks Reserve items listed by the company: the new Lavender Matcha Malt, Iced Ube Coconut Latte, and Sakura Float.

Starbucks Spring Drinkware Draws Inspiration From the Relationship Between Humans and Nature

According to USA Today, Starbucks is also launching a collection of themed drinkware as part of its March 4 spring menu kickoff.

Described by the coffee chain as being offered in an array of “vibrant seasonal hues,” cold cups, water bottles, tumblers, and more will be put up for sale in eye-catching displays.

Starbucks is also expanding its Artist Collaboration Series of drinkware via a collection featuring designs from Brooklyn-based visual artist Misha Tyutyunik. That series is inspired by the “interconnected relationship between humans and nature,” according to the company.
