Olive Garden Brings Back the Buy One, Take One Promotion. Here Are the Details

March 13, 2025

Olive Garden is aware that its customers are nothing if not inflation-weary, so it’s bringing back a popular promotion to ease their minds (and wallets). Beginning March 24, the popular Italian-American-inspired casual dining chain is bringing back its Buy One, Take One promotion, where customers can get two popular pasta dishes for the price of one. Let’s look at what we know about this latest deal.

All About Olive Garden’s Buy One, Take One Promotion

According to a press release, Olive Garden’s popular Buy One, Take One special will return from March 24 to May 4, bringing visitors two nights of signature dishes for one low price. This will mark the first time in five years that the popular promotion has been on the menu.

Starting at $14.99, visitors can choose one of their favorite menu items, which come with unlimited breadsticks and soup or salad, and receive a second entree for free to take home.

Beginning March 17 and ending March 23, Olive Garden eClub members will get early access to the Buy One, Take One for dine-in service. Guests can register for eClub on the restaurant’s official website, and it’s free to do.

  • Angel Hair with Marinara
  • Four-Cheese Manicotti
  • Fettucine Alredo (+$3)
  • Spaghetti & Meatballs (+$4)
  • Lasagna Classico (+$4)

Finally, they can choose one of the following chilled entrées to heat up and enjoy later:

  • Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
  • Five Cheese Ziti al Forno

Delivery To Your Door

The Buy One, Take One promotion will be available in restaurants, as a ToGo order, and through Olive Garden’s brand-new delivery service, which allows customers to enjoy their favorite dishes delivered directly to their door.

After years of offering ToGo, Olive Garden Delivery now allows fans of the Italian-themed restaurant business to enjoy their most famous dishes without leaving home. Olive Garden is now available for delivery at all locations nationwide, allowing guests to have breadsticks, soup and salad, and other favorites delivered right to their door.

“We understand that our guests don’t always have the time to dine in our restaurants, and our new delivery service gives our guests a convenient way to get all of their favorite dishes. Guests can now enjoy our freshly baked breadsticks and scratch-made sauces like the always-favorite fettuccine alfredo and so much more delivered right to their doorstep,” said Jaime Bunker, senior vice president of marketing, exclusively to RetailWire.

Per a press statement, Olive Garden’s delivery launch is via a first-party delivery partnership with Uber Direct. Here’s how it works:

  • Customers can place orders through OliveGarden.com or the restaurant’s app.
  • Meals are freshly prepared and delivered to their doorstep by an Uber driver.
  • To qualify for delivery, customers must reside within an 8-mile radius of their nearest restaurant.
  • Orders up to $350 are eligible for standard delivery, while larger orders can be fulfilled through the company’s catering service.

According to Nation’s Restaurant News, Darden Restaurants Inc., which owns Olive Garden, announced last December that it aimed to introduce individual-order delivery to the majority of the Italian chain’s restaurants after the holidays in collaboration with Uber Direct. This would allow the company to speed up orders, minimize training time, and increase its data and analytics capabilities across nine brands, officials claimed during a Q2 2025 conference call.

Darden Restaurants Inc. launched a test run for Olive Garden delivery in late 2024 after signing an agreement with Uber in September. Initially, delivery was only accessible at 100 restaurants.
