Disney+ and Hulu’s $2.99 Bundle: What You Need To Know

March 13, 2025

New and eligible returning customers can get a great deal on Disney+ and Hulu. Until March 30, the Disney-owned app is offering a bundle basic plan that includes both Hulu and Disney+ for $2.99 monthly for four months.

After the four-month Hulu-Disney+ promo period, subscribers will pay the normal $10.99 per month. So, instead of paying nearly $44 over four months, customers will only need to shell out about $12.

As of now, there is no special deal for the streaming service’s three-app bundle of Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. Customers who sign up for that package will pay the normal $16.99 a month.

More Details on the Hulu-Disney+ Basic Promo

The basic plan includes ads, but subscribers will have access to thousands of movies and shows in Disney’s collection, including titles from Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. Viewers can watch anything in Hulu’s library as well, such as “Futurama,” “Shogun,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The one feature missing from the basic package is the ability to download content to watch offline. However, the Hulu-Disney+ premium plan, which is ad-free, does include the download option, but users will need to pay $19.99 per month.

New subscribers over 18 years old qualify for the promo Hulu and Disney+ bundle. While there is no clear definition of “eligible” returning customers, it is likely that previous subscribers that canceled more than a month ago can also get the deal.

For subscribers who want live TV, there is a plan for that. Users willing to pay out as much as $95.99 can get live TV alongside Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. Of course, the streaming service has a variety of plans at diverse price points in between.

To save money, some users have offered to share app passwords with friends and family. Yet, it’s currently not a good idea as Disney announced last year that it was clamping down on password sharing with users outside the subscriber’s immediate household.

The special $2.99 a month promo may be Disney’s way of mitigating a decrease in streaming service customers. Even though the entertainment company reported a 3% growth of Hulu subscribers in the first quarter of 2025, subscribers of Disney+ dropped 1%. At the time, Disney said it expected another decline in Q2 2025.
