El Pollo Loco Extends St. Patrick’s Day Deals With Healthier Chicken Bowls
March 21, 2025
El Pollo Loco is keeping its customers in the green even after St. Patrick’s Day, offering deals for a limited time that include healthier chicken bowl options.
Per a press release shared with RetailWire, from now through March 24, guests can enjoy the popular Double Pollo Fit Bowls for just $8 — available in-store, online, or through the El Pollo Loco app.
Known for its signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, El Pollo Loco continues to expand its menu offerings to cater to wellness-minded customers without compromising taste. The Double Pollo Fit Bowl features a nutrient-rich Super Greens blend, fresh avocado, queso fresco, and double portions of grilled chicken — delivering over 50 grams of protein in every bowl.
With a growing demand for high-protein, low-carb meals, this limited-time promotion positions El Pollo Loco as a go-to option for health-focused diners seeking convenient, flavorful alternatives to traditional fast food. The Double Pollo Fit Bowl not only satisfies appetites but also aligns with clean eating trends — making it an ideal meal choice during the hustle of a busy week.
El Pollo Loco Isn’t the Only Restaurant That Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day
El Pollo Loco was just one of many restaurants celebrating the popular Irish holiday. Earlier this month, Arby’s announced a special promotion that allowed its customers to get a free Reuben sandwich with a purchase.
Until March 16, Arby’s offered a special St. Patrick’s Day treat: a free Corned Beef Reuben sandwich with any $15 purchase.
To really get fans psyched for St. Patrick’s Day, the fast-food restaurant also launched a special “Eat Me I’m Arby’s Reuben Tee,” which is still available on its official website for $25. This tee will make you the center of attention on any pub crawl.
While the Reuben sandwich was only free for a limited time, the fast-food giant recently reintroduced its signature Potato Cakes as a permanent staple after a long absence. The company is so keen to replace the Potato Cakes’ limited availability with a permanent update that it created a humorous — yet substantive — marketing campaign centered on the news.
If Arby’s ever removes the Potato Cakes from its menus, the chain says it will sue itself for $1 million in food, which will be split among any customers who sign up for a “pre-class action lawsuit” to hold the company accountable.
