Pizza Hut Brings Back Beloved Menu Item With a Ranch Kick

Pizza Hut fans rejoice: A beloved menu item is returning to stores, with a kick of ranch added to make it extra special.

Per food blogger Markie_Devo, the eatery will offer a trio of Ranch dipping sauces along with the return of the Cheesy Bites pizza for a limited time. Pizza Hut’s new “dip and dunk” flight coincides with the NCAA March Madness tournament.

The Ranch Lover’s Flight features:

  • Chipotle Ranch: Smoky and spicy with a kick.
  • Ultimate Ranch: Creamy and rich, the “MVP of the bunch.”
  • Pepperoni Ranch: A blend of pepperoni flavors and ranch.

Rachel Antalek, head of food innovation at Pizza Hut, said in a press release, “As we bring back Cheesy Bites Pizza, we wanted to take the dipping experience even further. The Ranch Lover’s Flight gives customers three unique ways to enjoy their pizza, making this the ultimate dip-and-dunk experience just in time for March Madness.”

As of March 26, and for a limited time, customers will be able to order a large one-topping Cheesy Bites Pizza and a Ranch Lover’s Flight for delivery, carryout, or dine-in at Pizza Hut. The Cheesy Bites pizza, which features 28 pull-apart cheesy bread bites in place of a traditional crust, was first introduced nearly 20 years ago.

Previously, the Cheesy Bites Pizza was last available six years ago, in 2019. This limited-time offering is available from March 26 through May 25 at participating locations nationwide

Pizza Hut Debuts Brand New Spokesperson for March Madness

Besides these new LTOs, Pizza Hut is also debuting a new brand spokesperson during the March Madness tournament. “Peter Zahut” appears as part of a new brand campaign in TV ad spots. 

Peter Zahut is portrayed as the “ultimate delivery legend” who never shows up empty-handed. The press release states, “Whether he’s dropping off a hot pizza or setting up the perfect alley-oop, Peter has a knack for making every moment bigger, better, and a lot more fun. He’s not just delivering pizza — he’s delivering the kind of good times that Pizza Hut is all about.”

Melissa Friebe, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut, said this particular campaign does more than showcase Pizza Hut’s menu items. She believes it spotlights “the good times and big and small moments of joy that come with adding pizza to any occasion.”
