Applebee’s Welcomes Warmer Weather With $5 Springtime Sips
March 31, 2025
Applebee’s is welcoming sundress weather by offering what it’s calling “$5 springtime sips.”
In a press release announcement, the popular casual dining chain revealed that the newest “Mucho Cocktails” include the new Rock and Berry Rita, which is a delicious twist on the guest favorite strawberry margarita, prepared with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s ultra-premium Teremana Blanco Tequila, triple sec, strawberry, and lime.
Customers may also try the new Breezy Bahama Mama, which is crafted with a luscious blend of Bacardi Superior, banana liqueur, coconut, cherry, pineapple, and orange juice. Applebee’s Mucho Cocktails are crafted with quality liquor and delivered in a distinctive Mucho glass.
Guests can get $5 Springtime Sips To-Go at participating locations, while supplies last.
“These $5 Springtime Sips are just what our guests are looking for during this time of year,” said Patrick Kirk, Vice President of Beverage Innovation at Applebee’s, in a statement accompanying the press release. “Whether they have spring fever or spring break on their minds, Applebee’s is the place to kick it. Delicious cocktails made with premium spirits — it’s time to make the trip in and order one.”
Applebee’s Also Brought Back Its Date Night Pass For A Limited Time
The popular casual dining chain is still hoping to attract customers despite the restaurant industry’s shifting landscape. Recently, it brought back its popular Date Night Pass for a limited time.
These are restricted to Club Applebee members.
For $100, the Date Night Pass allows two people to dine in the restaurant or take it to go and spend no more than $50 on monthly food and non-alcoholic beverages for the following year. It is valid from Mar. 1, 2025, until Feb. 28, 2026, and offers up to $500 in savings.
Applebee’s Date Night Pass was in high demand when it originally released in 2024. The passes sold out in mere minutes.
After receiving a confirmation email to purchase the pass, many consumers voiced dissatisfaction with the restaurant, only to discover it was sold out. Some fans could not pay, despite having the pass in their cart.
The restaurant issued the following statement to TODAY at the time: “The Date Night Pass sale this week showed us that our guests are hungry for date night at Applebee’s — just prior to sale time there were nearly 100,000 guests waiting to try and snag a Date Night Pass.”
