Dunkin’ Brews Up a Freebie for April Fools’ Day

This April Fools’ Day, Dunkin’ is skipping the tricks and offering guests a limited-time deal.
Instead of handing out jokes on Apr. 1, Dunkin’s loyal customers are given a real treat: free coffee of any size. A million coffees are ready to be scooped up. Here are the details, per a press release.
All customers have to do is open the Dunkin’ app and click the “Offers” tab in the menu. Enter the promo code ThisIsNotAJoke in the “Add a Promo Code” section, and hit “Apply.”
By using the code, customers will receive a coffee or cold brew order for free, no jokes or strings attached. Unfortunately, espresso is not included in the deal.
The promo code is valid on Apr. 1 only, or until the code limit is reached. The free coffee and cold brew reward is valid until Apr. 8.
Dunkin’ is Known For Customer Freebies
Throughout the year, Dunkin’ typically offers a variety of promotions and freebies to its customers. These include free food, drinks and purchase points that can be used on menu items.
The biggest rewards come when customers join the Dunkin’ Rewards program, whereby they can earn points for every purchase.
On their birthday, Dunkin’ rewards customers with a free beverage, as well as free donuts on Wednesdays during the holiday season. There are also plenty of times throughout the year where the bakery runs BOGO promotions on their menu items.
Finally, on National Coffee Day (Sept. 29), Dunkin’ Brands rewards guests with a free medium hot coffee with the purchase of any medium, large, or extra-large hot coffee. There are also receipt surveys — these allow customers to complete a survey in exchange for a free donut or a discount on their next visit. These surveys help Dunkin’ improve its service and products, and participants get a tasty treat in return.
