Applebee’s Adds New Big Bangin’ Burger to Its Really Big Meal Deal Menu — and Dirty Sodas

It’s official: Applebee’s lovers who enjoy taking advantage of the restaurant chain’s trending Really Big Meal Deal have a new option hitting the menu.

According to Applebee’s website, a new burger is in town, and it’s joining the $9.99 Really Big Meal Deal lineup. Those craving a burger with a little bit of a spicy kick may want to consider the new Big Bangin’ Burger.

“Our juicy all-beef patty topped with two slices of American cheese and our new sweet and spicy secret sauce made with jalapeños and bacon. Served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on a Brioche bun,” the company declared of its latest burger creation.

That’s not all that’s new for Applebee’s patrons, however. A recent NJ.com report outlined that a variety of new beverage options — perfect to pair with the aforementioned burger — are also hitting the red-and-green brand’s menu.

Applebee’s Dirty Soda and Alcohol-Infused Buckets Are Sure To Please

First up is the dirty soda, a hyped-up trend that has been taking social media by storm as of late. The deal is simple: All you have to do is cough up an extra $1 to add whipped cream and a cherry to your soda.

If you prefer something a bit boozier, Applebee’s is also launching a new alcohol-infused bucket in addition to reintroducing two others.

The Rum Breeze Bucket — an old favorite — is comprised of Bacardi Superior Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, and blue curacao mixed with lemon, pineapple juice, and lemon-lime soda. The new Strawberry Daq-A-Rita Bucket, meanwhile, is a blend of strawberry Patrón Silver margarita combined with Bacardi Superior Rum, and the returning Party on the Beach Bucket is made with Bacardi Lime Rum and peach schnapps mixed with passion fruit, pineapple, and orange juice.

Hot Honey Isn’t Old News Yet, According to Applebee’s

For those laggards just hopping about the hot honey train, Applebee’s is also promoting a new Hot Honey Glazed Chicken & Bacon Skillet.

This sweet-yet-spicy dish certainly lives up to its name, with applewood-smoked bacon and a sliced grilled chicken breast being the star of the show. The chicken is complimented by a hot honey glaze topping (alongside bacon and parsley) and is accompanied by sautéed mushrooms, onions, and waffle fries.
