Mountain Dew Mango Rush Lands at Little Caesars in Flavor-Packed Collaboration
April 21, 2025
Mountain Dew and Little Caesars have introduced a collaboration exclusive to the eatery with the launch of Mountain Dew Mango Rush.
According to a press release, the new beverage will debut on May 5, available exclusively at Little Caesars locations. Mountain Dew Mango Rush combines the brand’s signature citrus flavor with the sweet, tropical taste of mango. The drink was specially crafted to give the pizza eatery’s customers the perfect fizzy companion to their favorite fast food.
“We’re excited to team up with Mountain Dew for the first time, especially given the success of Pepsi Pineapple and past flavor exclusives. Little Caesars customers seek out flavors to complement our fan-favorite offerings — which is why Mountain Dew Mango Rush is such a great fit,” Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, said in the press release.
Scott Finlow, chief marketing officer at PepsiCo Away From Home, added, “One thing Mountain Dew and Little Caesars fans both share is a thirst for adventurous flavors. With Mountain Dew Mango Rush, our goal was to collaborate with Little Caesars to create a new, refreshing beverage that pizza and Dew enthusiasts will love.”
The carbonated beverage will be available in a collectible 16-ounce can with a co-branded design. It will be available at the fast-food eatery while supplies last.
Little Caesars’ Mountain Dew Deal Isn’t Its First Soda Collaboration
The release of Mountain Dew Mango Rush isn’t the first time the pizza chain has teamed up with the drink company.
In 2023, Little Caesars and Pepsi directly addressed the longstanding argument: Does pineapple belong on pizza? It became one of their most unique collaborations ever.
The pizza retailer united with the soft drink as part of the chain’s Pineapple Pair-Up Combo. The fan-favorite combo included a 16-ounce Pepsi Pineapple and a Large 2-Topping Thin Crust Pizza when purchased online for just $9.99.
“There’s always a passionate discussion surrounding pineapple on pizza,” said Little Caesars’ CMO Hamilton at the time. “Together with Pepsi, we’re satisfying ALL pineapple lovers, regardless of how they feel about it as a pizza topping. The Pineapple Pair-Up Combo gives our customers an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the tropical taste on their Thin Crust pizza, in their Pepsi or both.”
“Little Caesars fans appreciate great flavor and whether they like pineapple on their pizza or not, we’re confident Pepsi Pineapple will be unapologetically enjoyed by their customers everywhere,” said PepsiCo’s CMO Finlow in a press release regarding the 2023 collaboration.
Founded in 1959 by Mike and Marian Ilitch in Garden City, Michigan, Little Caesars began as a single family-owned pizza shop with a focus on quality and affordability, according to the company’s website. The brand quickly gained traction, opening its first franchise just three years later and steadily expanding across the United States and internationally.
Little Caesars rose to national prominence with its innovative “Pizza! Pizza!” campaign in the 1980s. Its promotion of two pizzas for the price of one was a massive hit among customers looking for great value at a great price. The company continued to distinguish itself with value-driven offerings like its Hot-N-Ready pizza, which allowed customers to walk in and grab a fresh pizza without waiting. In 1988, the eatery introduced its Pan!Pan! to its menu, one of the first square, quick-service deep-dish pizzas on the market.
Today, Little Caesars is one of the largest pizza chains in the world, known for its affordability, speed, and bold marketing. Its continued popularity stems from a commitment to quality ingredients, creative promotions, and value-focused innovations that keep customers coming back.
